The Huntington Beach City School District must maintain class size limits for each grade level at each school site.  The Internet  Registration System (AIR) will assign you to your home school.  However, in the event your home school is at capacity in your child's grade level, it will be necessary for the District to find alternative placement for them for the remainder of the school year.  If alternative placement is necessary, you will be contacted by the district to determine placement based on the school closest to your home address with available space.  Transportation may be available to some schools.   

* All kindergarten and 1st grade first-time entrants must provide a report of health examination form completed and signed by a qualified physician or the California State Department of Health. This form can be downloaded from the following link:

This online registration process is the first step for students who have never enrolled and/or attended any of the schools within the district.  

HBCSD Aeries Internet Registration allows you to quickly start the process of enrolling your student(s) for school. Information about the student such as emergency contacts, medical and language information will be collected. Upon completion, the student's information is electronically sent to the school but is not complete until the school site has reviewed the data and received the appropriate hard copies as required. 

The online process should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and requires a valid email address. You can logout and resume if the process takes longer than expected, if you resume please log back in and continue, DO NOT attempt to set up another account.

To get started enrolling a new student, click the Enroll a New Student button. 

*Note: Entries should be made using proper upper and lower case, including proper legal names as listed on legal documents.  Do not use all capital letters or nicknames.
